Alison’s Pound Cake

Basic Recipe:

1 C. butter

1 2/3 C. Sugar

Cream until light and fluffy

5 eggs

1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat in one at a time

Fold in:

2C. flour

Grease and flour pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 90 minutes.

Variations:

Can fold in choc. chips, raisins, orange peel, etc. etc. etc.
